Produced by Jiangsu TV Station, it was co-created by Joy Cartoon Satellite Channel and Jiangsu Guangming Cinema Animation Media Co., Ltd., premiering on August 25, 2015, on Jiangsu Satellite TV and Joy Cartoon Satellite Channel. The story revolves around ten-year-old urban boy Chen Yuxuan participating in an experience reality show program and living in a rural area of Hebei revolutionary base. Due to his arrogant laziness, he struggles to complete the tasks set by the production team. During this period, he accidentally finds a chicken feather letter. Its owner, Old Grandfather Zhao, shares with him stories about delivering such letters during the anti-sweep operations era while fighting against Japan. As both boys' narratives progress along with the development of the chicken feather letter tale, modern child Chen Yuxuan and elderly courier Zhao Haiwa grow up separately yet intersect within different timescales.
